Privacy policy

Updated October 17, 2026

We only collect what we need to answer your request and to understand how people use the site. We don’t sell data, show ads or use advertising cookies.

Who we are

Kovali (kovali.studio) is a team of developers and designers; the contact person is Nazarii Kovalenko. For any question about your data, email [email protected].

What we collect

  • From the site’s forms: name, phone or Telegram, email, the service, budget and project description — only what you fill in.
  • When you contact us directly: whatever you send by email, Telegram or Viber.
  • Visit statistics: pages viewed, where you came from, country, device type, browser and language. No cookies and no stored IP address, so we can’t tell who you are.
  • Technical data: your IP address is briefly processed by our server and Cloudflare to deliver pages and protect the site from spam and attacks.

Why

  • To answer your request, prepare a proposal and fulfil a contract if we start working together.
  • To see which pages are useful and improve the site.
  • To protect the forms from spam and abuse.

Legal bases: your request and steps before a contract (requests), our legitimate interest (statistics and site protection).

Where data is stored

  • The site and statistics run on our own server in a Hetzner data center in Finland (EU). Statistics are collected by our own Umami instance and are not shared with third parties.
  • Form requests are delivered to our team’s Telegram chat.
  • Email is handled by Zoho Mail, on servers in the EU.
  • The site runs through Cloudflare, which processes requests for speed and protection.

These services process data only to make the site, email and messenger work.

Cookies

We use one functional cookie that remembers your language. There are no analytics or advertising cookies, so there’s no consent banner either.

How long we keep data

  • Requests and correspondence — while we’re in touch, and up to 2 years after the last contact if we didn’t start working together. For clients — for the duration of the contract and as long as the law requires.
  • Visit statistics — no longer than 2 years; they contain nothing that identifies you.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing or object to it. Email [email protected] and we’ll reply within 30 days.

If you believe we’ve violated your rights, you can complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
